Before creating a campaign
Confirm your Reach workspace, campaign-creation permission, a ready sender and sufficient shared credits. Review audience permission and suppression before preparing a send.
Open Reach → Campaigns → New campaign. Continue advances through validated steps; it does not launch a campaign. The final submission determines whether work is saved, submitted for approval or created for delivery.
1. Choose the audience
- Prospects uses reusable Reach records with filtering and selection.
- CSV uploads a campaign list and requires field mapping.
- Manual is appropriate for a small list entered in the builder.
- Subscribed targets eligible subscribers; it is not a way to relabel an arbitrary list as subscribed.
- Campaign reuses a permitted previous audience. Recheck current eligibility and suppression rather than assuming the earlier list remains contactable.
Choose the source first, then refine and confirm recipients. Workspace audience totals are hidden.
Account details and configuration values are hidden.2. Compose the message
- Enter a recognizable campaign title, email subject and body.
- Use Templates for a reusable asset or AI for assistance, then review the resulting copy and claims.
- Insert and map supported variables. Inspect recipient previews and the final signature state.
- For an A/B test, choose subject, body or both and complete the required B content. Review both variants before continuing.
Compose is the normal writing surface; HTML and Preview support more detailed inspection. This capture shows a blank message.
3. Set the sender and schedule
Choose the intended sender. Select Send now or Schedule and check the date, time and timezone. The Send now control in this step selects a delivery mode; it is not the final submission.
Open Advanced delivery controls to review supported tracking, sending-window, delay and rate options. An expected delivery time can be adjusted to the permitted window.
4. Review follow-ups
Keep the campaign single-step if a sequence is unnecessary. Otherwise add follow-ups with deliberate message content, timing and no-reply or other supported conditions.
Check every enabled step, signature, thread mode and any custom delivery-window override. Incomplete enabled steps can prevent finalization.
5. Review and finalize
- Check the audience count, sender, subject and body, variable mapping, schedule, tracking, enabled follow-ups and credit estimate.
- Use Edit on a review item to return to the relevant step. Resolve Needs attention items before proceeding.
- Choose Save Draft when available to retain a campaign without launch. Submit For Approval sends it to the configured review process. Create Campaign prepares delivery under the chosen mode when direct sending is allowed.
- Wait for success feedback and inspect the resulting campaign status. A pending approval or draft campaign is not a launched campaign.
This fictional campaign was never saved or sent. Sender identity and inherited configuration values are hidden; your final actions depend on permissions.

Use Campaigns for status, Stats, follow-up operations and eligible lifecycle actions. Use Inbox for responses and Deliverability for delivery health.
The displayed credit estimate and available final actions depend on your workspace policy and balance. Review billing and usage separately from business payment-provider connections.
If finalization is blocked
- Audience: select valid recipients and finish CSV mapping when required.
- Message: complete required text, A/B variant content and every variable mapping.
- Delivery: select a usable sender and correct the schedule or window.
- Follow-ups: complete enabled steps or disable unused incomplete steps.
- Access and balance: check the displayed role restriction, approval policy and credit requirement.
