Understand safety restrictions
Open Reach → Safety to review the suppression list and domain blacklist. Suppression protects individual email addresses; a blocked domain prevents outreach to that domain.
Unsubscribed, failed, policy-returned and manually suppressed contacts can appear in this workflow. Review the reason before attempting further outreach.
Find a restricted contact
- Search by email and choose the available source filter. Select Apply.
- Inspect the reason and timestamp on the matching entry.
- Distinguish no match from a record outside the current filters or page. Check the workspace and clear filters when needed.
The capture excludes contact rows and hides the suppression total. Individual and domain restrictions have separate controls.
Account details and configuration values are hidden.Add an individual suppression
- Enter the intended email address in the suppression form.
- Add a clear reason where useful, such as a recipient-requested opt-out.
- Review the address, choose Add and wait for success feedback.
- Find the entry again to verify that the intended address is restricted.
Block a domain
- Enter a domain such as example.com in Domain blacklist, using the format shown by the product.
- Add a reason explaining the organizational restriction.
- Confirm the exact domain before choosing Add domain. This affects more than one contact.
- Review the resulting entry and any affected planned audience.
Understand removal and deletion
Remove removes a suppression entry; Delete prospect removes the underlying prospect when your permission allows it. These are different actions with different effects.
Do not remove an opt-out simply to resume a campaign. An authorized decision to lift a restriction should be supported by the recipient’s current permission or a corrected erroneous record. Resolve the original cause first.
Review bulk actions
- Use Select page only after checking the active filter and visible addresses.
- Review the selected count and distinguish Remove selected from Delete selected prospects.
- Read the confirmation and verify the exact scope before proceeding. Prospect deletion may be unavailable to your role.
- Review the result and any reported error rather than assuming every selected row changed.
Troubleshooting
- Campaign recipient skipped: check individual suppression, domain blacklist and current recipient eligibility.
- Recurring bounce: investigate the address and mail failure; retries do not fix invalid contact information.
- Cannot delete: visibility and suppression management do not necessarily grant prospect deletion permission.
- Bulk action failed: inspect reported failures and refresh the list before taking another action.
