Your account versus workspace access
Open Profile to manage your account details and sign-in protection. Your account identity is separate from the workspace role and module permissions assigned by a business.
The available security controls depend on the current account and supported experience. This guide covers the controls shown in Profile without implying universal device-session management.
Review account protection
- Open the account details section and confirm your name and verified email information.
- Use the provided verification flow when changing the sign-in email.
- Open Security to review password and available two-factor settings.
- Keep the recovery/contact methods shown in the security editor current. Never share verification codes or recovery credentials.
- Review the available sign-in activity and session information. Sign out when finished on a shared device.
Use the Security tab for sign-in protection. This screenshot shows empty fields; no password or security setting was changed.
Understand session controls
Use the session controls actually offered by the current screen. Recent browser activity is useful context, but it does not imply that every individual web device can be revoked from the page.
After changing a password, review the confirmation and the guidance for other authenticated sessions. If activity is unfamiliar, protect the account and contact support using sanitized details.
Closing an account
Account deletion is a separate governed process with eligibility and approval requirements. Members and managers may need their company memberships removed first; ownership and workspace data need deliberate review.
Read the closure screen and confirmation carefully. Do not interpret removing a teammate from one workspace as deleting their entire account.
If verification or access fails
Use the current verification flow and check the intended email or phone destination. Do not send codes to support or ask someone else to complete your verification.
If a workspace is missing after sign-in, ask its administrator to review your membership. Changing a password does not restore an inactive workspace membership.
