What these templates cover
Open Workspace settings → Email & templates. Email appearance controls presentation; Templates contains the governed operational email catalog with module filters and previews.
These settings affect future supported operational messages. They are separate from Reach campaign templates and do not rewrite messages already sent. Workspace administrators can edit the available controls.
Review appearance and content
- Open Email appearance and review the inherited business identity. Adjust the presentation controls available for this channel.
- Use the appearance previews to check the displayed name, logo, body and primary action.
- Open Templates and filter to the relevant module. Select Preview for the message you intend to change.
- Choose Edit and retain the available variables needed for recipient-specific content. Review the live preview before applying the draft.
- Apply the draft, then save the settings. Applying a draft alone is not the final save.
Filter the operational catalog by module, then preview the message before editing it.
Account details and configuration values are hidden.Email appearance inherits the workspace identity while offering channel-specific presentation controls.
Inheritance and variables
Blank editable fields inherit the governed default. Restore defaults returns a draft to inherited content; review and save it before relying on the change.
Use only the variables listed for that template. A subject, message or action label should describe the actual workflow. An action label applies only when the message includes an action.
Check every intended presentation
- Review available light, dark and email-client previews.
- Confirm required variables still communicate the correct recipient and workflow context.
- Check the action label, support details and footer. Use fictional data for examples or shared screenshots.
Use the built-in fictional sample to review message hierarchy, appearance and action wording before saving.
Account details and configuration values are hidden. If the result is unexpected
If a preview shows an inherited value, check whether the editable field is blank. If a previously sent message has not changed, remember that edits apply to future emails.
If a save fails, keep the draft open and review the displayed error. Do not remove required variables to hide a preview problem.
