Where identity applies
Business identity is a workspace-owned default for supported customer-facing and employee-facing workflows. Existing sender and page overrides remain available and are preserved.
Open Workspace settings → Business identity → Identity details. Editing requires workspace administrative access. Confirm that you are configuring the intended business before saving.
Configure identity details
- Enter the approved brand name and legal name. Keep customer-facing names recognizable and legal details accurate.
- Add approved logo assets and the website address. Review the preview rather than relying on the asset filename.
- Review the public icon and approved light-page and dark-page wordmark assets. Use the asset fields shown in Identity details rather than private file links.
- Set support email, support phone and business address where applicable.
- Provide the business privacy and terms links that customers should use.
- Review Display currency and timezone for their supported defaults, then select Save business identity.
Enter approved business names and assets, then compare the identity previews before saving.
Defaults and overrides
Shared details provide a fallback; an explicit channel or page override may take precedence. Review Email appearance and Public page appearance separately after updating identity.
Currency and timezone are governed alongside the workflows they affect. Identity or personal display settings do not automatically change accounting treatment or historical records.
Check before sharing
- Verify support contacts and policy links from the customer’s perspective.
- Check the available previews with both long and short business names.
- Confirm the saved result in the same workspace, including any channel-specific overrides.
If a change does not appear
Confirm the save succeeded and that the consuming channel uses the shared default. An explicit sender, email or page override may explain the difference.
If editing is unavailable, ask a workspace administrator to make the change. If an asset fails to display, review its approved public accessibility without exposing private files.
