Membership and module permissions

Open Team in the intended workspace. Workspace membership determines the overall role; module access and detailed permissions determine what a person can do in specific workflows.

Administrative access is required to manage teammates. Module-specific access panels remain governed by their relevant permissions and plan availability. A member does not need broad administrative access merely to perform an operational task.

Invite and review access

  1. Check the selected workspace and the intended teammate’s identity.
  2. Use Invite teammate and choose the appropriate available role.
  3. Review the relevant module access and any required assignments before relying on the invitation.
  4. Have the teammate accept the invitation using the intended account.
  5. Review the resulting member record and verify that both permitted and restricted actions behave as expected.

Use the narrowest practical role

The available Admin, Manager and Member roles have different responsibilities. Review the actual module controls rather than assuming that a role name grants every capability.

Viewing contact information, exporting data, approving work and accessing operational records may have separate controls. Review these deliberately for each job responsibility.

Keep access current

  • Review access when a teammate changes role or leaves the business.
  • Use the available team audit view to understand administrative changes.
  • Keep membership lifecycle actions separate from changes to module permissions.

If access is unexpected

Confirm the person accepted the intended workspace invitation with the correct account. Review their active membership, workspace role, module entitlement and detailed permissions.

If an invitation or access change fails, read the displayed error and ask an authorized administrator. Do not issue broad access to bypass an unresolved ownership or scope problem.
