Choose the right business boundary

An organization groups the business context. Tenants provide separated client or business boundaries within that context, and workspaces are where teams perform their operational work. Access to one workspace does not imply access to every tenant or workspace.

Use the organization and workspace management screens available to your account to review the structure. Ordinary workspace members may have operational access without permission to manage the organization.

Review your current context

  1. Check the active workspace before opening shared settings or Team.
  2. Open organization management if your role permits it. Review the tenant and workspace associated with the business.
  3. Confirm module access and the billing scope shown in Billing. Do not assume that every workspace has an independent credit balance.
  4. Invite teammates into the intended workspace and verify their module access there.

Understand shared defaults

Business identity provides a common fallback for supported communication and public-page workflows. A channel or module may retain an explicit override, so changing a shared value does not necessarily replace every existing value.

Accounting currency and other operational policies belong to their relevant workflows. A display preference does not silently change Ledger base currency.

Keep boundaries deliberate

  • Keep unrelated businesses or client teams in the appropriate separate boundary.
  • Configure credentials in the selected workspace rather than reusing another business’s connection.
  • Review the billing scope shown on screen before buying a plan or interpreting shared-credit usage.

Resolve unexpected access

If you see only operational screens, ask the owner whether organization administration is intended for your role. Switch to a workspace you administer before changing its organization settings.

If data or billing totals appear unexpected, confirm the tenant and workspace context first. Do not move, merge or delete records to correct a navigation mistake.
